POLICE are investigating after solar panels which power speed cameras on the A4069 were damaged.

Average speed cameras were installed on the A4069 between Brynamman and Llangadog in an attempt to improve the safety of the road after a number of serious crashes.

The speed limit on the Black Mountain Road was also previously reduced from 60mph to 40mph.

Dyfed-Powys Police are now investigating after damage to the solar panels powering the average speed cameras was discovered on Tuesday, February 26.
