James Durbridge, headteacher of Ysgol Dyffryn Aman, has praised the pupils and staff on their GCSE results.

Mr Durbridge said how the group of year 11 pupils have been ‘extraordinary’ and ‘battled through adversity to achieve excellent results this summer.’

He said: “At Ysgol Dyffryn Aman, we are especially proud of our year 11 cohort this year. They have been an extraordinary group of students who have battled through adversity to achieve excellent results this summer.

“We warmly congratulate every individual on their fantastic achievements. We look forward to further working with our students to ensure they progress in their studies at school, in apprenticeships, college or employment from September.”

He also praised staff at the school for their hard work and parents and guardians for their support.
