A man remains in police custody following an alleged rape in Llandovery town centre on Wednesday afternoon.
A man remains in police custody following an alleged rape in Llandovery town centre on Wednesday afternoon.
Police were called to the town following reports of the alleged incident, and an area remained cordoned off for several hours whilst officers carried out their investigations.
A man, who hasn’t been named by police, was subsequently arrested in connection with the alleged rape and remains in police custody.
No further details have been released at this stage however police have confirmed that their investigations are still on going.
