TWO people from Pontarddulais recently appeared in court and a warrant for the arrest of a third has been issued.

Gemma Harris, 35, of Pantiago Road, Pontarddulais, was found guilty of speeding by Cardiff Magistrates Court on July 19.

She was caught on February 5 doing 26mph on Bolgoed Road, Pontarddulais, where the limit is 20mph. She was fined £220 and given three points on her licence. She also had to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Mark John Davies, 56, of Llwncelyn Avenue, Pontarddulais, by Swansea Magistrates Court on July 21.

He failed to attend court on the date in relation to an alleged breach of a community order.

Ashley James Luck, 39, of Clos Maes yr Ysgol, Pontarddulais, admitted being drunk and disorderly at Swansea Magistrates Court on July 22.

The offence took place on July 6 where he was found to be drunk and disorderly at Swansea Railway Station. He was fined £60 and ordered to pay £24 surcharge and £85 costs.
