Australia full-back Billy Slater made it a night to remember for a young Leeds fan when he handed him his World Club Challenge medal.
The Super League champions suffered a comprehensive 38-4 defeat to Melbourne in the annual clash of the Grand Final winners but the disappointment for Rhinos supporter Neil Robinson was offset when Slater presented his son with his winners’ medal.
Slater was thanked on Twitter by Robinson, who posted some pictures of the exchange, with his son beaming after receiving the unexpected souvenir.
