Winning two cups was not enough for Cwmamman United U14s as the team added the league championship to their belts.

They began celebrations after securing the West Glamorgan league championship with a resounding 7-0 win over Rhos FC.

This triumph gave the team, which already had victories in the West Wales and West Glamorgan Cups, an incredible end to an outstanding season.

An excellent team effort resulted in a hat trick of goals from Trammel Joseph, two from Riley Parkin, and one from captain Flynn Williams, alongside an own goal.

Coaches David Pugh and Celyn Barnett have been crucial in guiding the side through the age groups, ensuring they continue to grow stronger.

Alongside the U14’s success, the U16s secured the West Glamorgan runners-up spot with a 6-0 win against Glynneath in an earlier game at Grenig Park.

The U13s are also set for the West Glamorgan Cup final in the coming days, increasing hopes for another addition to the trophy collection.

As the junior section concludes its season, it is clear that the hard work of all the volunteers and excellent coaches is reaping the rewards, developing the skills and standards of numerous teams and children participating every week.

The future appears promising for Cwmamman United.
