Ammanford Cricket Club secured an early season victory over their town rivals in the Cricket Wales Womens Welsh Plate.
The match took place in pleasant spring weather on Wednesday evening, May 15.
Playing in the popular softball cricket format, the Wild Boar Centurions scored 313 but Ammanford managed to restrict them by taking four wickets.
In their innings, Ammanford Cricket Club finished on 315 and clinched victory by seven runs, thus gaining three points in the group that also includes Penygroes.
