FIRST team coach Jody Thomas has stepped up to become the new manager of Cwmamman United.
It follows the decision of Ryan Stephens to step down from the role due to work commitments.
Chairman, Lance Williams said: "We are really sorry to see Ryan having to step back as he has started an exciting rebuild of our playing capability, but we understand that family comes first.
"Jody has been working closely with Ryan, and has been a key part of the planning already in place.
"He is popular with the players, committee and supporters, and has the right level of playing and coaching experience to take us forward."
Thomas said he was looking forward to taking charge of the village club.
"I am delighted to have the opportunity to manage such a well established Welsh League club," he said.
"I am really looking forward to the new season, and to continue our development and growth as a club."
Cwmamman United did not get a chance start their season in the Ardal South West League, after the Football Association of Wales announced in February that all football in tier three would be cancelled.
