CGMD, Glanaman, hammered Calsonic Rivals in the Llanelli Snooker Third Division this week as Gary Phillips, Nigel Powney, Alun Rees, Rhodri Llewellyn, Matthew Jones and Raymond Evans completed the Fishermens’ 7-0 rout.
Elsewhere, Upper Tumble Reds crashed 7-0 at Trimsaran B, while Gareth Jones, Gary Stead and Hywel Pritchard won for Cross Hands A in a 4-3 loss to Bryn B.
Matchroom Whites beat Pont Cons B - Lee O’Neill, Darren Butler and Dai Porter won for the latter.
Kevin Lewis, Verdun Lewis, Jeff Howells, S Rees, R Regola and Howard Thomas earned Ponthenri a 7-0 win at Tycroes RFC B while M Courtenay, Andrew John, Roy Morgan and George Langford gave New Lodge B a 6- 1 victory against a depleted Loughor,f or whom just Mark Jones struck.
Loughor also lost 6-1 to Pont Cons B in the sides’ rearranged fixture.
Up in Division Two, Garnant Club secured an aggregate 4-3 win at Burry Port Reading Room Reds, courtesy of Steve Lewis (27 break), Lyn Hopkin and Mike Hopkin.
Great Mountain, Tumble, were convincing 6-1 winners at Bryn A, thanks to Anthony Stephens (39 break, 25 clearance), Elton Rees, Jason Putt, Brett Enoch and Shaun Lewis.
Cons B beat Reading Room Reds 4-3 while Chris Waters was Snooker World B’s sole frame-winner in a 6-1 loss to Electric B.
Electric C defeated Cons A 6-1 and Trimsaran A won 5-2 at Llanesco.
In Division One meanwhile, wins from Adam Griffiths, Steve Davies and Matthew Jones edged a 4-3 win for Pontardulais Workmens against Llandybie Social. Tim Walters, Roger Morgan and Lyndsey Pugh replied.
A Dicks and Mark John were New Lodge A’s winners in a 5-2 loss at Morfa, while Burry Port Legion won 4-3 on aggregate at Matchroom Reds. Matchroom Blues won 6-1 at Pontyberem.
Pontarddulais Cons A defeated Tycroes RFC A 6-1, courtesy of Simon Williams, Mark Tucker, Kyle Steins, Anthony Lewis and Steve Doughton. Jeff Jones provided Tycroes’ solitary frame win.
