Ammanford made a swift exit from the SWCA T20 Knockout Cup as they were bundled out by Clydach.
Their batsmen failed to establish themselves for long enough at the crease.
Hedd Jones (28) and Matthew Fisher (24) pushed the score along, helped by a sixth wicket half-century partnership between Rhodri Davies (16) and Alun Evans (38) coming in at seven, but it was not enough.
Some interesting shots from the Clydach batsmen, particularly Nicky Fisher (72), enabled the home side to pass the Ammanford total with six wickets and nine balls to spare.
Meanwhile, Despite a defiant and solitary 81 from opener John Jones, Ammanford seconds were soundly beaten on their visit to Dafen in the SWCA Reserve Division One.
Batting first, the home team scored 227 from 36 overs, Jonathan Griffiths top-scoring with 50. Matthew Davies and Liam Owen took three wickets each.
Ammanford in reply had nobody to stay with Jones, though Lloyd Bevan did his best with 29 runs. Ammanford were all out for 155 in 43 overs.
