Bryn Rovers AFC were crowned champions of the Neath League Premier Division after they beat Giants Grave 4-0 in their final fixture of the season to secure promotion.

Moving up to the West Wales Premier - the fourth tier of the FAW football pyramid - is quite an achievement for a small community village side.

The club as a whole has enjoyed a very successful season, with the reserve side also winning the second division cup and narrowly missing out on promotion, whilst the third side finished a respectable mid table.

After the most successful season in the club's 38-year history, the club committee thanked all involved, without the help of the many volunteers, club officials, coaches and of course the players, they could not have achieved so much.

Special mention also went Dan Williams first team coach, Nathan Jones reserve team coach, Andrew Mangam third team coach and all assistant coaches on their hard work and great achievements, as well as the sponsors.

There was also a special thank you also for the continued support of Cwarter Bach Community Council, and the wonderful supporters who have been present in numbers throughout the season, come rain or shine.
