A CHARITY fundraising couple from Ammanford are doing their bit to ensure schools in Bulgaria are better- equipped.
Alan and Chris Tait, of College Street, have formed a charity – The Eduquip Foundation – dedicated to raising the standard of schools in the eastern European nation.
“We’re asking for people to donate educational equipment,”
Chris told the Guardian. “If any students have left home, there may be a computer desk gathering dust in their bedroom.”
Alan – who be making his next trip to Bulgaria with pal Paul Holman – said they were aiming to buy a van.
“Getting equipment for these schools may prove easier than paying for the cost of fuel,” he said.
Anyone who feels they can help can contact Alan and Chris on 01269 268114.
