LLANDOVERY town councillors are trying to organise a training session to acquaint themselves with the workings of their new CCTV camera.
The camera and recording system, costing in the region of £4,500, have been earmarked for the corner of the town’s heritage centre.
But councillors were left annoyed when the CCTV suppliers installed the equipment and left, leaving an instruction manual, which is “incomprehensible”, to follow.
“We are hoping someone will come and give us a training day,” Cllr Edgar Jones told colleagues.
“But we have still not really decided who’s going to be responsible for looking after it and advising the police.
“At the end of the day it’s our equipment, and how are we going to be permanently responsible for it?”
