THE 50th anniversary of the death of Methodist minister Nantlais Williams will be marked in a special edition of the S4C programme Dechrau Canu Dechrau Canmol from Bethany Chapel, Ammanford, on Sunday, December 6, at 8.30pm.
Bethany is the chapel where the Rev Williams spent his entire ministry. In the programme, current member Gaynor Jones recalls him as her minister.
Dr Stephen Nantlais Williams shares memories of his grandfather, born in Pencader in 1874 the youngest of ten children.
Alwyn Humphreys presents performances by local choir Cantata and pupils of Ysgol Gymraeg Rhydaman.
The singing is led by Catrin Hughes and the organist is Huw Tregelles Williams.
