AMMANFORD’S Woolworths store will close on Monday, January 5 unless a buyer for the stricken high street chain can be found, it emerged today.
The Quay Street store will be among the last Woolies supermarkets to close after others shut their doors on December 27, December 30 and January 2.
One staff member told the Guardian they were still hoping for an eleventh hour reprieve.
