AN AMMANFORD man has been accused of stealing alcohol, doughnuts and hair straighteners from shops across the town.
David Nicklin, 34, of High Street, appeared at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court charged with five offences of shoplifting.
Nicklin was accused of raiding Boots on three occasions – allegedly taking various items on March 9, hair straighteners worth £100 on March 12, and two bottles of perfume worth £130 on March 26.

He was also charged with stealing alcohol worth £49.50 from Iceland on February 22, and £7.50 of doughnuts from Greggs on February 28.
Nicklin admitted stealing the alcohol at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court, but denied the remaining charges.
He was granted bail until his next appearance at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court. As part of his bail, he has been barred from the three stores.
