Ystradgynlais Library has moved back to its original home following a revamp.
The enhanced facility, run by Powys County Council, was temporarily located at the Welfare Hall.
It's set to close down at the Welfare Hall at 1pm on April 12 and will reopen back at Temperance Lane at 10am on April 22 following a series of improvements.
Upgrades include remote working facilities, bookable meeting pods and 'Zoom rooms'. The library will offer digital connectivity learning spaces, including gaming activities.
It aims to spotlight heritage, provide relaxing reading corners and pop-up shop spaces for producers.
The new structure also houses improved disabled access, learning activities for children and a warm bank provision. Comfortable social areas, a flexible space for wide-ranging activities, discussions, and a garden for cultural and environmental learning are other key features.
The building infrastructure has been upgraded for energy efficiency with solar panels with battery storage, LED lighting and improved insulation.
While hinting at an official opening later in the year, Nina Davies, director of social services and wellbeing for Powys County Council said: "The transformation of Ystradgynlais Library is fantastic.
"The remodelling will meet growing community demands, with a greater emphasis on supported digital access from a trusted community location.
"We hope that what the library now offers will encourage people to work locally and reduce their need to travel.
"The refurbished facility and its improvements will also contribute to reduced environmental impacts."
