The Interprovincial Schools Championship took place at the National Aquatic Centre in Dublin on Saturday, March 23.

The four teams competing for points to win the Swim Ireland Interpro Cup.

Two students from Enniskillen were selected to represent the Ulster Interprovincial team and their schools against some of Ireland's top swimmers across the four provinces.

Ellie Dunlop (15) representing Enniskillen Royal Grammar School (ERGS), competed in the 15-16-year-old age group in the 100m Breastroke, a high -speed race, saw Ellie finish 3rd fastest 15-year-old in the 100m breaststroke.

Ellie also took part in the 50m freestyle relay and 50m medley relay where his team finished 2nd I. Their relay.

Jamie Lannon(16) representing St. Michaels College, finished 2nd fastest in his age group in the 100m breaststroke, scoring valuable points for his team.

He also swam the 50m freestyle relay and the 50m medley relay, where his team finished 2nd in their age group .

Both swimmers were delighted to be able to represent their schools and Ulster While Leinster won the schools cup this year Ulster achieved third place finish overall.
