A 55-YEAR-OLD man has admitted assaulting two police officers in Carmarthenshire.
Lawrence McDermott, of Derlwyn Close in Foelgastell, appeared at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court accused of two offences of assault by beating of an emergency worker.
McDermott was alleged to have attacked two officers – PC Guy and PC Evans – in Foelgastell on January 6.

He pleaded guilty to both offences in court on January 23.
McDermott was granted bail, and will return to Llanelli Magistrates’ Court for sentence on February 13.
