A SPECIAL concert will be held in February as a precursor to the Llandeilo Fawr Festival of Music.
Next month, the festival of music will be holding a recital from a piano trio – Shaham/Erez/Wallfisch – at St Teilo’s Church. It will be the trio’s first visit to Wales in their 15 year career and comes two days before they perform at the iconic Wigmore Hall in London.
The St Teilo’s and Wigmore Hall concerts are the only two that the ensemble will perform in the UK this season. The trio is comprised of cellist Raphael Wallfisch, violinist Hagai Shaham and pianist Arnon Erez. All three are highly acclaimed solo musicians as well as leading players of their respective instruments.
Shaham/Erez/Wallfisch Piano Trio will be performing at St Teilo’s, Llandeilo, on Friday, February 16 at 7pm. Tickets cost £20 which includes a glass of wine and nibbles or £5 for students under 21. Llandeilo Fawr Festival of Music will take place between July 13-20, 2024.
