CHILDREN across Ammanford were able to get a glimpse of who is arguably the most famous man at this time of year – Father Christmas.

Throughout December, the Ammanford Lions club visited various areas in Ammanford and the surrounding villages to delight youngsters and raise money for local good causes.

On Sunday, December 17, the club held its Santa sleigh run which allowed excited children to get a glimpse of Santa ahead of his busiest period of the year, and there was an interactive map which children could track Santa on his sleigh as he arrived near them.

Take a look at these pictures from the Santa sleigh run.
