HUNDREDS turned out in Ammanford for the switch on of the Christmas lights this past weekend.
The festive spectacle took place in the town centre on Saturday, November 25. Attendees of all ages enjoyed entertainment from children’s entertainer Crazy Clayton, Christmas carols from Cor Merched Tybie and Ammanford Town Silver Band and local musician Rhys Morgan and rock band P’tcheaow.
There was also chance to get some thrills in with the fairground rides and Santa took time out of his busy schedule to visit in his grotto, which was arranged by Ammanford’s Round Table.
After the switch on of the lights, a sparkling firework display put an end to proceedings, lighting up the night sky.
