LLANDEILO was turned into a Santa paradise on Sunday as dozens of Santas descended on the town.

The Santas of all ages and abilities were taking part in the Llandeilo Santa Run on Sunday, November 19 as part of the Festival of Senses weekend activities.

A large number of runners took part despite the wet and windy weather, which failed to spoil the festive fun. A festive spirit was helped by Alan Thomas who provided Christmas song as entertainment.

There was a junior race which saw runners take on two laps through some of the town’s streets and the 5k race which followed a larger course around the town and was taken on by participants of all ages.

Wayne Lewis and Amy Griffiths were the winners of the 5k category race, with Joseph Rees being the highest-placed youngster to finish the main race.
