One of the biggest events of the Christmas calendar is taking place this weekend as crowds flock to the Festival of Senses in Llandeilo.
Despite some wet weather on the Friday the streets were packed with hundreds of people to watch the arrival of Santa on his sleigh, the lantern parade and Samba CP and the spectacular laser show.
There was also musical entertainment from Llandeilo Town Band, Ffion Haf and Harry Luke.
The event was opened by local MP Jonathan Edwards and the Festive lights were switched on by the Deputy Mayor and Mayor elect.
The event continues across the weekend.
