CROWDS turned out in Llandeilo this past weekend to remember those who fought and gave their lives.
Llandeilo Royal British Legion decorated St Teilo Church with the old style poppies that have been collected over the years.
Cllr Edward Thomas, chairman of the branch, said: “Our talented branch secretary Charlotte Walker came up with this idea and used a netting to decorate the pulpit in the church and the entrance foyer.

“The effect is spectacular and a wonderful way to recycle unused poppies, especially as we have the new eco poppy.”
On Sunday, November 12, a Remembrance parade and church service was held. The service was conducted by Reverend Jonathan Parker.
