FOLK rock legends will be in Carmarthenshire for one day only later this month.
Steeleye Span will be at Carmarthen’s Lyric Theatre as part of their 50th anniversary tour.
Steeleye Span changed the face of folk music, bringing it out of the small clubs and into the world of international tours and gold discs.
After five decades on the road, the six-piece will be celebrating the 50 years of the band with an anniversary tour that will feature all their best songs from the past half a century.
Over the years, Steeleye Span have had a number of member over the years but their signature sound has always remained.
Steeleye Span will be at Carmarthen’s Lyric Theatre on Thursday, November 30 at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £29 or £27 for concessions and can be bought at www.theatrausirgar.co.uk or by calling 0345 2263510.
