There had been protests outside the hotel after plans were announced to house up to 241 asylum seekers there while their claims were processed by the Home Office. These plans were withdrawn earlier this month.

Appearing at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on October 12, the case against May was adjourned until November 23.
