A TOWY Valley tradition was celebrated in full this past weekend.

The Llandovery Sheep Festival took place in the town on Saturday, September 16 and Sunday, September 17 where it celebrated sheep and Llandovery’s drover traditions.

The weather didn’t hamper the celebrations as townsfolk and those from further afield enjoyed musical performances, arts, crafts, food, spinning, weaving and a rare sheep breeds display.

There was plenty of local produce on offer and discussion about the future of sheep farming and its impact on the environment.

Take a look at some of the fun in these pictures from Stuart Ladd.
