All the fun from Ammanford's Big Rainbow Day Out 2023

The Ammanford Rainbow Big Day Out was held at Ammanford Park on Saturday, September 16, after it was rescheduled from earlier this summer due to weather.

Thankfully, the weather held out as people young and old enjoyed a range of activities and performances.

There was live music and sports activities as well as children’s entertainer Crazy Clayton to keep people entertained alongside compere Gareth P Morris, as well as a range of activities.

The Ammanford Army Cadets enjoyed a game of laser tag, and there were donkey rides, inflatables, an assault course, petting farm, crazy golf, didi cars, a helter skelter, rock & roller, rodeo rugby ball, total wipeout and a storyteller tree alongside a woodland workshop which included a fire pit and chance to enjoy some toasted marshmallows.

A spokesperson for Ammanford Town Council said: "A great family event was held by Ammanford Town Council in Ammanford Park on Saturday 16h September.

"There were plenty of activities for the children, including a variety of inflatable play-areas, as well as donkey rides!

"The main stage saw the very popular children's entertainer-Crazy Clayton -as well as The Rock Project-which gave children-and young people an opportunity to sing with a band, and play a variety of musical instruments.The Ammanford Cadets were also there-all day-helping out,and assisting,in a variety of ways.The Town Council are very grateful for their great support.

"There was also a large variety of food and craft stalls."
