A WOMAN has admitted causing unnecessary suffering or injuries to two children in the Amman Valley.
The court heard that the offences took place in Upper Brynamman in March and June of 2021.
The woman, who we are not naming to protect the identity of the children involved, pleaded guilty at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on August 23 to two charges of assaulting, ill-treating, neglecting or abandoning a child to cause unnecessary suffering or injury.

She was granted bail while her case was adjourned for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.
The woman, from Carmarthen, will return to Llanelli Magistrates’ Court to be sentenced on September 13.
