AN AMMANFORD man will face trial after denying strangling and attacking a woman.
Clive Tomlinson, 58, of Banc Y Ddraenen, appeared at Swansea Crown Court charged with assault by beating and intentional strangulation.
The offences refer to an alleged incident involving the same complainant on January 28 in Pensarn, Carmarthen.

He pleaded not guilty to each charge.
Judge Geraint Walters ordered that Tomlinson will stand trial on December 6.
