THERE are plans to turn a garage and fields into a residential development in the Gwendraeth Valley.
Mr P. Davison submitted plans to Carmarthenshire County Council which, if approved, would see a residential development on land off Llanon Road, Pontyberem.
The application states that the 2.2 hectare site is currently a commercial vehicle repair garage and adjoining grazing fields, with the site being made up of 0.25 hectares of previously developed land and 1.95 hectares of greenfield land proposed for development.
Drawings suggest that there will be 24 semi-detached three-bedroom homes, 28 detached three-bedroom homes and three detached four-bedroom homes.
