The discovery of a grenade by detectorists has resulted in police officers and an explosive ordnance disposal team being called to the scene.
On Thursday, August 10, Dyfed-Powys Police officers in Ystradgynlais were called to the Dyfynnog area by metal detectorists.
The detectorists had been searching the area and found what appeared to be a hand grenade.
The police attended, along with the explosive ordnance disposal team, and upon investigation discovered it was a training grenade and removed it.
