A FAMILY fun day will be held in the Towy Valley this coming bank holiday weekend.

Llandeilo Festival of Senses and the Round Table Llandeilo will be hosting a family fun day at Cae Williams ground, home of Llandeilo RFC.

The fun day will include a touch rugby tournament, children and family games, food fromTalley Woodfired Pizza, Dewi Roberts’ burgers, a bar in the rugby club, stalls and live music.

Llandeilo mayor Christoph Fischer, who is also on the festival committee, said: “It’s one of our most popular fundraising events.

“The touch rugby competition has been going since 2018 with varying degrees of added attractions. Due to covid, the family side to the event has taken a back seat but we’re all out again with it this year, with help from the Class House and Llandeilo Round Table.”

All funds raised at the bank holiday fun day will go towards the running costs of the 2023 Llandeilo Festival of Senses (November 17-19).
