PART of a footpath in the Dyffryn Cennen area will be diverted.

The Brecon Beacons National Park Authority made an order on July 26 that part of the public footpath no.45 at Glyncoch in the community of Dyffryn Cennen will be diverted.

The relevant footpath is:

  • Public footpath no.45 from grid reference 264975,218642 in a generally south-easterly then generally east by north then generally east south easterly direction for a distance of approximately 240 metres to grid reference 265194,218597.

It will be moved to a line running from grid reference 264975,218642 in a generally south south easterly then generally easterly direction for a distance of approximately 70 metres to grid reference 265029,218619 then turning to a south by east direction for a distance of approximately 15 metres to grid reference 265034,218606, then turning to a generally easterly direction for a distance of approximately 165 metres to grid reference 265194,218597.

Any representations or objections to the order must be sent in writing to the Rights of Way Officer, Brecon Beacons National Park Authority, Plas y Ffynnon, Cambrian Way, Brecon, Powys, LD3 7HP with the reasons for the representation. The closing date for representations is August 25.
