Joseph’s Smile is a charity set up in memory of three-year-old Joseph Yeandle who died of cancer in 2021. At the time of his death, his family – from Brynamman - were fundraising for treatment in the USA and since the formation of the charity, they have been helping families to cover medical treatment or equipment for their children who are battling conditions and also providing a support network.

The charity has also launched a new initiative where every child with cancer in the UK is provided with a specially designed vest called The Wiggly Vest. This vest was designed for Joseph by his mum Katy and it is designed to allow children with cancer the chance and freedom to play, whilst protecting their Hickman line from damages and life-threatening surgical replacements.

Joseph’s Smile Beach Football Festival will be held between 11am and 6pm on Sunday, August 6 at The Secret Beach Bar & Kitchen, Swansea. To find out more, visit www.josephssmile.org/beach-football-festival
