There was a special celebration for the coronation of Charles III held in Caerbryn Hall (near Crosshands) on Bank Holiday Monday, May 8.

Villagers of Blaenau and Caerbryn enjoyed the event in the hall despite the wet weather outside.

Young and old attended the party and enjoyed a feast fit for a king.

Children also enjoyed making their own crowns and having their faces painted.

The hall was festooned with Union Flags and bunting with many people donning festive coronation headware to get in the party spirit.
