George Oxenham (Garnant)

Peacefully on Sunday, February 5 at Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli George of Maes y Bedol, Garnant. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn, loving brother of Malcolm, Kerry, Alfred, Ray, Christine, Sandra and the late Edwin, a dear uncle and will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

Funeral on Tuesday, February 21. Service for family and friends at the Private Chapel of Keith Morgan, Glanamman at 2pm followed by interment at Ammanford Town Cemetery. Family flowers only. Hywel James Williams (Pontarddulais)

Passed away peacefully on Friday, February 3 at Glangwili Hospital, with his family at his side, Hywel, of Squirrel Walk, Pontarddulais and formerly of Ammanford. Caring and devoted son of Valarie and the late Delphus, loving brother of Sharon, friend and brother-in-law of Daniel, kind uncle of Steffan and Elan, nephew to Margaret and the late Robert and cousin to Peter.

Funeral was held on Thursday, February- 16, service at The Mission, Cwmtwrch, at 11am, followed by interment at Ammanford Town Cemetery. Family wreath only, donations in lieu, if so desired, to The Critical Care Unit, Glangwili Hospital and kindly received by Hywel Griffiths and Son, Funeral Directors, Bwtrimawr, 39 Betws Road, Betws, Ammanford, SA18 2HE.

Olwen Collier (Penygroes)

Tragically, on Monday January 16, at the University Hospital of Wales, Olwen of Clos Ael-Y-Bryn, Penygroes. Devoted mother of Allison, Helen and mother figure of Sam, respected mother-in-law of Wyn and Guy, loving grandmother of Sion, Tomos, Emyr, Ethan and Emily, dear great grandmother of Olivia Grace, a fond sister and aunt.

A public service to celebrate the life of Olwen will be held at the Apostolic Temple Penygroes on Saturday February 18 at 12.30pm. Family flowers only.
