HERE are some of the speeding drivers caught from the Amman, Swansea and Tywi Valleys who have been in court recently.

Owen Thomas Henen-Weber, 41, of Llanddeusant, Llangadog, was found guilty of speeding by Llanelli Magistrates Court on January 16.

He was caught on July 18 doing 38mph in a Land Rover Discovery on the A476 Carmel North, Llanelli, where the limit is 30mph.

He was fined £220, given three points on his licence and ordered to pay £90 costs.

He was also found guilty of a second driving offence by the same court. This offence took place on July 6 when he was caught doing 35mph in the same vehicle on the A483 Talardd Villas, Ffairfach, where the limit is 30mph.

He was fined £220, given three points on his licence and ordered to pay £176 surcharge and £90 costs for this offence.

Adelle Jenkins, 41, of New Road, Ystradowen, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on January 16.

She was caught on July 7 doing 43mph in a Kia Sportage on the C2135 Hendre Road, Capel Hendre, where the limit is 30mph.

She was fined £361, given four points on her licence and ordered to pay £144 surcharge and £90 costs.

Dr Angela Kay Rekers-Power, 55, of Parc Pencrug, Llandeilo, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on January 11.

She was caught on July 3 doing 41mph in a Skoda Fabia on the A4222 Primrose Hill, Cowbridge, where the limit is 30mph.

She was fined £293, given four points on her licence and ordered to pay £117 surcharge and £90 costs.

Tammy-Ann Davies, 33, of Clos Nant Ddu, Ynysmeudwy, Pontardawe, was found guilty of speeding by Cardiff Magistrates Court on January 12.

She was caught on November 7 doing 35mph in a Vauxhall Zafira on Pontardawe Road, Clydach, outside St Joseph’s Catholic School, where the limit is 20mph.

She was fined £440, given five points on her licence and ordered to pay £176 surcharge and £90 costs.

Owen James Griffiths, 47, of Tirycoed Road, Glanaman, was found guilty of speeding by Cardiff Magistrates Court on January 12.

He was caught on July 27 doing 35mph in a Ford Transit on the A474 Penywern Road, Rhyddings, where the limit is 30mph.

He was fined £220, given three points on his licence and ordered to pay £48 surcharge and £90 costs.

Christopher Dyer, 56, of Parc Brynmawr, Llanelli, was found guilty of speeding by Llanelli Magistrates Court on January 20.

He was caught on July 11 doing 26mph in a Vauxhall Vivaro outside Ysgol Gynradd Cross Hands where the limit is 20mph.

He was fined £220, given three points on his licence and ordered to pay £88 surcharge and £90 costs.
