A PENSIONER was fined £40 after crashing into a wall.

Wilfred Mason, 84, of Dan y Crug, Llandovery, admitted two driving offences at Llanelli Magistrates Court on January 11.

He admitted a charge of driving without due care and attention and a charge of failing to stop after a road accident.

Both charges related to June 16 when he was driving a Renault Captur on A40 High Street, Llandovery, where he damaged a garden stone wall and iron gate railings and failed to stop.
