A group of young karate students from Ammanford and Penygroes have all passed and advanced in their martial arts journey after their most recent grading, which took place in Pembrokeshire.
Learners at Ammanford and Penygroes karate clubs travelled to Narberth for their latest grading session, to test whether they will be able to move to their next belt grade.
The students travelled in their numbers, along with parents and their Sensei Susy Soravia, who is a fifth dan black belt and has been running karate groups locally for many years.
On the visit to Narberth, the students were graded by Sensei Jon Dunn, a sixth dan, with the day being a great success.

Sensei Soravia said: “I’m mighty proud of my students’ achievements with their new grades. They worked hard and deserved it. Onwards and upwards.”
Both clubs meet once every week for practice, with Sensei Susy running the Ammanford club each Monday and the Penygroes group every Wednesday.
