This winter has seen the welcome return of the Christmas Fair to National Trust Cymru's Dinefwr - for the first since 2019 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The historic Newton House was full of fresh, seasonal foliage, gathered from the ancient parkland, complete with a grand Christmas tree in the Outer Hall.
Welsh artist, Bettina Reeves, handmade sustainable decorations, reflecting seven ‘Creatures of Dinefwr,’ for the occasion.
Local community choirs sang in the dining room and stallholders displayed a beautiful range of local produce, wares and gifts at the front of Newton House.
Over the Christmas period, the parkland will be open daily for visitors to enjoy (and the Deer Park will reopen on the 1 March 2023).
Newton House will be open on weekends (apart from Christmas Eve and Christmas Day). To view upcoming festive events at Dinefwr throughout December, please visit www.nationaltrust.org.uk/dinefwr
