Drefach U14s 16-0 CKSV U14s

After the great win in the west Wales cup, Drefach welcomed CKSV to the Gwendraeth for a league game.

Riddled with injuries CKSV turned up and showed great character and spirit throughout the game even though the clinical Drefach didn’t give them chance to breathe. Drefach we’re in a confident mood and looked sharp from the off.

Goals were plenty full for the hitmen up front Iwan Bull, Ryan Roberts and Elliot Morgan who managed 10 goals between them.

There was a new midfield pairing made up of Dylan Rees and Lewis Thomas who were instrumental in the supply with Rees bagging two of his own.

Holding midfield AJ was at ease and thwarted any potential attacks from the visitors.

From the KO The back four made up of Harri Thomas, Tomos Bull, Charlie Thomas and James Thomas put in a solid shift and again looked to attack with telling at every opportunity.

Keeper Logan Jones steered the team from the back with great comms throughout and looked good looking up with the defence.

Low in numbers this week Daniel Davies the reserve keeper came on in midfield and managed to contribute a hat trick towards the team and fitted in well as an outfield player.

Coaches Carl Morgan and Jonathan Davies were very impressed in the commitment of both sides and even more pleased that their boys displayed no selfish play and maintained shape, structure and discipline.

Even though the score was one-sided, a huge compliment must go to the whole CKSV squad who kept battling to the very end.
