A MAN will face trial for controlling behaviour next month.

Jordan Leigh Richards, 31, of Duke Street, Kidderminster, denies four offences relating to controlling behaviour, assault and stalking.

He appeared at Llanelli Magistrates Court on October 20 where he denied one count of continuously controlling or coercive behaviour in Ammanford between December 2015 and March 2022.

He also denied a count of assault which is alleged to have taken place in Ammanford in July this year and one count of damaging a gate in Ammanford which happened on the same date.

He also denies stalking which led to a fear of violence in Kidderminster between August and October this year.

He has been remanded on bail with the condition to not contact the victim and to not enter Carmarthenshire unless for court appearance or pre-arranged appointment with solicitor. He is due to stand trial on November 17 at Swansea Crown Court.
