Local police officers are investigating two incidents of vehicle theft, which both occurred within hours of each other this week near Ystradgynlais.
The first of the incidents occurred between midnight and 6.45am in the early hours of Wednesday, October 12.
A white Ford Focus was taken from a property in Lower Cwmtwrch, which police later stated was found in Ynysmeudwy.
Later in the morning, a moped was taken, also from the Lower Cwmtwrch area. Like the Ford Focus, it was later found, this time “down an embankment near the A4067.”
