A public footpath on the foot of the Brecon Beacons has been diverted.

The Brecon Beacons National Park Authority placed a notice in the South Wales Guardian on August 24 in relation to the footpath which is located in Dyffryn Cennen.

The diversion of public footpath number 10 will see walkers diverted from grid reference 266202,221186 in a west, south west, direction for 120 metres to grid reference 266098,221144, then turning in a west, north west direction for 170 metres to grid reference 265938,221187.

Instead the path will now be running from grid reference 266202,221186 in a west, north west direction for 135 metres to grid reference 266073,221219 then turning in a west, south west direction for 140 metres to grid reference 265938,221187.

Any representations about the diversion of the footpath must be made in writing to the Rights of Way Officer, Brecon Beacons National Park Authority, Plas y Ffynnon, Cambrian Way, Brecon, LD3 7HP by September 23.
