TWO Amman Valley women are set to appear at crown court on a number of charges – including keeping someone against their will.

Alexandra Fanthome, 25, of Heol y Gelynen, Upper Brynamman, and Jennifer Nicklin, 34, of the same address, are set to appear at Swansea Crown Court on September 12.

Fanthome is accused of grievous bodily harm with intent for offences allegedly occurring between August 11 and 14 this year.

She is also accused of false imprisonment between the same dates. Both offences relate to the same victim.

Nicklin is accused of making a threat to kill on August 13 against the same victim. She also faces a charge of false imprisonment between August 12 and 13 and assault by beating on the same dates.

The charges relate to the same victim.

At a hearing at Llanelli Magistrates Court on August 15, Nicklin denied the assault by beating charge but no pleas were entered for the remaining charges. The pair are due to appear at Swansea Crown Court on September 12.
