It’s time to post the pigeon back home after this super-fast winger turned up announced after taking a wrong exit somewhere between Ystradgynlais and Morecambe.
The stunning bird arrived unexpectedly in Lorraine Woodbridge’s front garden in Abercrave on Wednesday morning. But after checking the details on his ring, she discovered he was way off the mark.
“When we contacted the owner we found out that he’s located all the way up in Morecambe,” said Lorraine.

“And unfortunately he won’t be able to come and collect the racing pigeon until next Wednesday, which leaves us in a bit of a predicament.”
Now Lorraine has sent out an SOS for any pigeon owners who may be able to collect the happy wanderer and look after him until his rightful owner is able to collect him on Wednesday.
If anyone is able to help out, they can message Lorraine on the Ystradgynlais Notice Board Facebook page.
