South Wales police have launched an investigation after a motorist was assaulted on the dual carriageway last Friday morning.
The incident took place between 8.20am and 8.35am on the Harbour Way dual carriageway in Port Talbot.
"Police have confirmed that a silver car was seen to be driven 'erratically' before coming to a standstill in front of a blue car," said a police spokesperson.
"The driver of the silver vehicle is then alleged to have assaulted the driver of the blue car and damaged the vehicle before making off at speed in an inconsiderate manner.
"We are appealing for anyone with information or dash cam footage relating to the incident to contact use.
