A woman has been hit with a fine after running a red light.

Anne Morgan, of Gellinudd, Pontardawe, was driving a Peugeot, on the A4067, Godre’rgraig junction with Graig Newydd, on May 5, when she failed to stop at a red light.

The case against the 65-year-old was heard at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.

Morgan admitted the charge and taking her guilty plea into account when imposing sentence, magistrates fined her £100. She must also pay a £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

Her licence was endorsed with three penalty points.
